This photo was taken from the bus. The ferry docked in Uig, Isle of Skye, and we then took the bus all the way from there back to Glasgow (8 hrs).

The name of my blog, Thistle Epistles, comes from a long-standing joke about the incredibly lengthy letters I would write to friends in the church I grew up in, in Virginia (East Coast USA). These letters were christened "the epistles of Katie to the Immanuelites." Well, now my blog has become the new, improved, extended version of letter writing: the Thistle Epistles.
