Welcome to Katie's blog about our life in Australia, which used to be about our life in Zambia, and before that, our life in Scotland! The purpose of this blog is to connect on a casual basis with many friends and family from afar.
The name of my blog, Thistle Epistles, comes from a long-standing joke about the incredibly lengthy letters I would write to friends in the church I grew up in, in Virginia (East Coast USA). These letters were christened "the epistles of Katie to the Immanuelites." Well, now my blog has become the new, improved, extended version of letter writing: the Thistle Epistles.
